I use Simple Green on everything. Just be sure to wash it shortly after (later in the day...not overnight) otherwise it leaves a bluish green stain (which will wash out after a couple washes). Aaron gets grease on his almost white work shirts. Too much color to bleach...Simple Green & a tooth brush. I've even gotten unidentified, week old stains out of things. Simple green-toothbrush-maybe wash a couple times with simple green treatment in between. Let me know what works!

Believe it or not...Lestoil Cleaner. BEST grease/oil/stain remover I've ever used. And yes, it's safe for laundry!

Normally, something oil-based dissolves oil, but that's my experience with getting grease or tar off my skin. Clothes are likely a different story. But, one site recommends talcum powder for oil stains, rubbing the powder on a hour before washing. I'm not sure if that's a reference to motor oil, but it may be worth a try. I typed in the URL above, I hope it works. If not, it's www.livingonline.com
